It tells me you care not just about getting parenting right, but about your teenager's heart. That's nothing. In a world where most parents have stopped trying to reach their kids, you're leaning in. That matters more than you know.
My name is Allan Giglio. I've been a youth pastor here in Orange County for 4 years and worked in youth ministry for over 13 years. I've sat across from thousands of teenagers, the quiet ones, the rebellious ones, the ones who look fine on the outside but are falling apart on the inside. And in all those years, the one thing I've seen make the biggest difference in a teenager's life isn't a program, a camp, or a curriculum.
It's a parent who stays in the room.
